The KEF Q150 is a compact 2-way bass-reflex bookshelf speaker built around KEF’s signature Uni-Q driver array, combining a 130mm (5.25″) aluminium mid/bass driver with a centrally mounted 25mm (1″) vented aluminium dome tweeter. It delivers a 51Hz–28kHz (±3dB) response, 86dB sensitivity, 8Ω nominal impedance, and up to 108dB maximum output, with recommended amplification from 10–100W. Its compact 303 × 180 × 278mm cabinet makes it particularly versatile for bookshelf, desktop or stand-mounted systems.

Sonically, the Q150 is especially strong for its coherent imaging, spacious soundstage and excellent midrange clarity. The Uni-Q arrangement behaves closely to a point source, helping vocals and instruments remain precisely positioned while maintaining broad, even dispersion. KEF’s CFD-designed rear port contributes to surprisingly substantial and controlled bass for a compact enclosure, while the aluminium drivers provide clean, detailed treble and good transient definition.
