🔊 Overview

The BeoLab 14 is Bang & Olufsen’s compact surround sound system designed to merge minimalist Scandinavian design with fully active speaker engineering. Rather than a traditional hi-fi setup, it was created as a complete lifestyle audio solution capable of delivering cinematic sound while visually disappearing into modern living spaces.

The system typically consists of four or five compact satellite speakers paired with a powerful active subwoofer, forming a 4.1 or 5.1 surround configuration. Each component is engineered to work as a unified acoustic system rather than separate speakers and amplifiers.

The BeoLab 14 was engineered around three ideas:

The sculptural conical subwoofer acts as the acoustic heart of the system, housing amplification and signal management while distributing bass evenly throughout the room.
