The Advance Acoustic MPP-206 preamplifier on the two-tone silver-black front side has a large volume knob and symmetrically positioned on both sides of the sound source selection buttons.

A turntable with MM or MC cartridge can be connected to the MPP-4. Recorder users can use loop recording. The preamp uses 4 sets of outputs: cinch, XLR and two pairs of RCA outputs (marked as sub-out and high-pass frequency), which cooperate with built-in filters with a cut-off frequency of 150 and 75 Hz.

On the front of the preamplifier there is a FET differential stage, which is reflected in the construction of the initial linear stage, built on the basis of discrete elements.
