NAD C352 80w Integrated Amplifier

The NAD C370 is a powerful, highly regarded early-2000s integrated amplifier, rated at 120W per channel into 8Ω and also 120W into 4Ω, with very strong current delivery. Its dynamic power reaches approximately 210W/8Ω, 340W/4Ω and 450W/2Ω, giving it considerably more punch than the basic 120W specification suggests. THD is rated at 0.03%, frequency response is 20Hz–20kHz, damping factor is over 150, and signal-to-noise is above 100dB depending on the measurement standard. It has seven line-level inputs, dual speaker outputs, pre-out/main-in connections, two preamp outputs, tone controls with defeat, headphone output, remote control, NAD Link, and Soft Clipping. Internally, the C370 uses a large toroidal power transformer, short signal paths, relay input switching and discrete Class-A driver circuitry.

Sonically, the C370 is best known for its strong bass control, speed, dynamics and ability to drive demanding speakers. Stereophile’s testing found substantially more transient power than the headline 120W rating, while listening impressions highlighted excellent drive and bass slam without sounding sluggish. Its presentation is generally energetic, open and clean rather than overly warm or romantic, making it particularly good for rock, jazz, vocals and larger floorstanding speakers
